La Mercy House

The first Durban Flickr Meetup of 2011 took place yesterday at the old abandoned house at La Mercy, a short drive north of Durban. The house has become a sort of landmark. Nobody seems to remember when last it was inhabited. Though there were a few spots of rain, it remained dry and allowed us to get a few shots.

Daytona

It would be a crime for any racing fan who visits Orlando, not to take a drive to Daytona Motor Speedway, famous for the Daytona 500 and the Daytona 24 hours races. Many early land speed records were also broken on the flat and wide Daytona beach, where you can still drive your car on.
