Durban City Streets - 1 June 2010

Just before the 2010 FIFA World Cup kicked off I spent a few hours with a couple of fellow photographers taking pictures in the middle of Durban. Soaking up the pre-World Cup fever and documenting some of the decorations put up for the occasion as well as some of the regular Durban city life.

The Comrades Marathon 2012

Catching up with my blogging which I've neglected these past few months. Here are a few pictures I took in early June of the Comrades Marathon runners as they passed through Pinetown on their annual 90km run between Pietermaritzburg and Durban.

It's not unusual to see For Sale signs outside houses, it's rarer though to see notices indicating the property isn't for sale. Presumably the owners of this semi-derelict house in Pinetown have had enough of people approaching them, thinking the property is up for sale.
